So the route split is over and it seems we have some new recruits.
Mazinger Z got it’s Scrander Module too. There are probly other guys that got new weapons (like Daiguard), but I haven’t checked.
In the meantime, unexpected guests arrive, namely Sheryl and Ranka. They were brought there by Eida, who seems to be using the island they’re on as a retreat. Nia bumps into them, and sings Aimo, and mentions (almost in passing) that she learnt the song from her father some time ago. Grace seems to think that the Spiral King knows more about what she’s plotting than she thought…
Anyways, since they are there, the two idols badger Alto-hime for a ride.
第37話:雄々しく・・・・・・そして、美しく
Stage 37: Be Manly… Then Beautiful
Sheryl, Alto and Ranka are just chillin’.
What’s this, a dialogue option? Who will you choose?
I pick Ranka. I have no idea what this choice does at this stage, but since I picked Ranka in the previous dialogue choice I stick with her.
Anyway a bunch of Gunmen show up.
For now it’s just 150 Morale Alto vs these Gunmen.
End of turn 1.
Turn 2. There’s actually more gunmen than I though at the bottom. Anwyay they all move up to attack Alto during the enemy phase and score a lucky hit.
End of turn 2.
After about 6 kills, ZEXIS shows up.
Turn 3.
End of turn 3. Nothing much happens, except Alto runs back to the main group and my team moves up to engage.
Turn 4.
I brought Zambot and Trider G7 along specifically so I could see their combo attack. At 25 EN, it’s freakin cheap!
End of turn 4. I leave one gunmen alive to kill on my next turn, because I don’t want to get caught with my pants down when the reinforcements show up and half my guys used up.
Turn 5.
YOKOOOO
Good thing I did, because once he pops a whole bunch of Invaders show up. Ane one goes straigtht for Alto.
R-Daigun…
He pops the Invader molesting Alto.
Woo for once you can actually use it!
R-Daigun comes out to save Alto…but it’s actually to save the two idols squashed with him. Ranka instantly realises that it’s Eida who’s piloting R-Daigun, surprising Johnny, but then again, no one really knew he was in the Dancouga Nova either.
Here’s the map after the Invaders show up.
We’ve got 3 turns to clear em for the SR Point.
Time to morale up Dancouga. All the pilots have the Morale up seishin so it’s pretty easy.
After about 4 kills an event happens…
A few more enemies show up. And the R-Daigun runs off to fight them.
Hohoho its you again.
Here’s the map after the show up. It kinda sucks coz they are all the way at the bottom of the map.
End of turn 5. Doing pretty good so far, Dancouga casts Iron Wall and rushes into the bottom group.
Turn 6. Mazinger Z ran out of juice cpimterattacking and the Regulas Alpha mobs are pretty damn tough at 16,000 HP each. They aren’t going down easily.
I take this chance to try out Tieria’s TRANS-AM. He just does 2 shots followed by a massive blast. I’m guessing Nadleeh has a seperate TRANS-AM attack, maybe I’ll put a video of those in the future.
Time for Dynames TRANS-AM
End of turn 6. Only 2 Regulas Alphas left.
I don’t have a turn 7 screenshot, but I do Final Dankouho on one Regulas.
TRANS-AM BAYBEE
Easy SR Point.
Post scenario it’s pretty much confirmed that Aida is the pilot of the R-Daigun.
Back at Dragon’s Hive, the Dancouga team backstory is revealed: They managed to defeat Muge in their own world, and were all near-death, when the Original Quake happened and plonked them in this current world. F.S. ran into them, and using the Final Dancouga as a base, created Dancouga Nova. The Nova itself is a “saviour” robot, taking in the DNA of all living creatures in the day that something happens to the world, and rebuild it, like the Noah’s Ark. They had a problem with human DNA (naturally), and after trial and error, got to this current D-Team, which finally was able to activate God Beast Mode.
AND YES THE DANCOUGA FINALLY JOINS
Meanwhile, it seems the Union has gotten their hands on some Fake GN Drives. Graham insists on keeping his promise to Daryl to defeat the Gundams…IN HIS UNION FLAG.
