I’ve noticed my life going through cycles over the years, and after the greatness of 2023, I totally knew it was coming.
2024 absolutely sucked. I will keep this one relatively short, because I’m still somewhat mentally recovering.
It started small at first, with the Solomon GP02 causing a bit of grief due to missing parts, then I lost my job, and I lost my dog at the same time around mid year. After that it’s been quite the struggle mentally, to adapt back to office work and the not so great project I was working on, plus getting past the state of denial over losing the best life I had in 2023.
In reality these are all somewhat first world problems, and these experiences have taught me the importance of having gratitude. But still!
Gunpla
While I had good pace in the first 3rd of the year, my momentum completely died with the loss of my job and passing of my dog around June. Funnily enough, I ended up with 12 builds, which was the number I predicted in my end of year review for 2023.

On the upside, I did get a few more photoshoots done than in previous years, I also upgraded my spray booth setup by installing an actual vent in my garage and painting area.
Games
Most of my gaming time this year was dedicated to finishing Baldur’s Gate 3 with my friends, as well as FF7 Rebirth.
Finally, thanks to all my Patrons for the ongoing support. I’m on the social media even less this year than ever, and chilling out with you guys on Discord has really helped me get past the last few months or so.

It’s hard to say what’s in store for 2025. If anything, it will be a slow build to try and get myself back to where I was last year, if ever.
