“There’s no need to rush. I’ll dispose of each of you in turn.”
Originally released in 2008, this T-elos figurine from Alter has been sitting in my closet for 8 years waiting for me to take pictures of her.
Haling from Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra, T-elos is one of the main antagonists from the game whose purpose is to destroy and absorb the spirit of her counterpart, KOS-MOS.
Her pose is rather simple and understated but does a good job of conveying her rather cold, ruthless and sassy attitude right before she dismembers you with her arm mounted L-Blade. The paintjob is top-notch, with the metallic purple finish looking fantastic when in the right lighting. Minuses for me are the slight painting defects on the gold trims where her abs are, and maybe that there should be more separation where her armour meets her skin, but otherwise she’s another great testament to the quality of figures produced by Alter.
Her fringe is also pretty big, which can overshadow her face. I’m willing to forgive that though, because at certain angles where you can’t see her face makes her look even more badass.
